Each of us is born with a gift. Dharma is its name. Everyone’s gift or Dharma is equally valuable.
Gardening is no less prestigious than writing a book to achieve the true result. Actually, what matters is not what you produce with your Dharma but rather the inner state you reach when using it. What also matters is the effect on people looking at your Dharma result (the story, the garden…). They are the mirror of the Source which awakens the observer TOO.
Therefore, the flowers or the words are equally just "the fingers that point to the moon".
-What you feel when gardening (remember it?) -The inner calm needed for a good story (feel it?) These experiences ARE the real fruit to collect.
This inner state remains the same despite many different gifts that are, each, doors to reach it.
Today a Mom explained to me her child was exploring a state of trance when she was dancing. Here it is again, a new dancing door for the same inner state – the same BIG ONE (also called the Tao) that makes her forget about time (there is NO TIME in here). It’s her doorway to the Source, to God in her…
The same ONE as yours when gardening or writing. Nothing matters but the inner state of consciousness. It’s the space where the Universe acts from within you, outward, "Its" way to reach others. If you could remain in that inner state (body and mind), you would not even need the Dharma itself.
This gift has been given to touch your inner Power - Not to have success in society. Success could happen - or fail to happen - on the path of creation - out of control. The creator is so absorbed by the creation instead of the goal, drawn into the divine whole… fulfilled by the holy pleasure to produce from their Dharma… that they cannot think out of the Present moment. The Space, the Tao, is always "In the now". Not having success in societies eyes doesn’t mean the creation is not good. See Vincent Van Gogh, Sebastian Bach, Emily Dickinson, Edgar Allan Poe, Henry David Thoreau, Johannes Vermeer, or Oscar Wilde, to name a few…. All People with such a precious, profound Gift or Dharma that they couldn’t even be seen by others during their lifetime.
Go fully into your Dharma (any gift you have) and feel the destination. Feel the inner state. Then forget everything - the body, the result, the brand, the gift, the success - and live your daily life in that state of mind. Keep it every second. Be“1” with the energy brought to life thanks to the door you opened. Look at everything, every experience, through the eyes of the Source.
Inner state is THE destination.
